Soo, Fall is almost here and the last few days we got a lot of rain here in Germany. Which reminded me of Seattle!!! We lived in Seattle for 2 years and a half and had the time of our lives there!! The weather is so similar to the Bavaria region we live now and I just can’t wait till Fall comes around so I can wear this outfit again. I love Pied de Poule (It’s name comes from French – pied de poule, so called because this pattern usually resembles chicken feet. In English, it’s called ‘houndstooth’; it’s created from the intersection of the vertical and horizontal threads, usually in black and white) pattern because it won’t ever go out of style.
“The pattern of this distinctive sartorial fabric recalls the severe elegance of the 50s – it’s ideal for a sophisticated woman, but today it’s been reinvented with the use of different fabrics and shapes. Albino , Trussardi and Gucci are just three of the names that have brought it back to the catwalk, just like Salvatore Ferragamo, which has created a range of solutions” Vogue 2016
